PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK
Pilanesberg offers you a wide range of accommodation available in Pilanesberg. There is luxury accommodation inside the park. You have hotels outside and on the perimeter of the park. The action towards conservation started in the early 1980’s. The park was opened by President Mangope with Chief Pilane present. Chief Pilane was the Chief from the Bakgatla tribe in Bophuthatswana. The Chief’s mountain of Pilanesberg.
The Park has grown ever since. Wildlife have been established. Pilanesberg offers a variety of accommodations. Pilanesberg accommodation ranges from resorts to hotels.
From camping to private luxury lodges. Two of the main resorts are Bakgatla and Manyane. These resorts are child friendly and is a great value for money. The resorts are well located and offers excellent wildlife sightings.
Pilanesberg accommodation have some of the best conference and team building facilities. The larger lodges are well equipped to accommodate delegates and corporates. Bakubung, Ivory Tree Lodge, Shepherds Tree Game Lodge and Kwa Maritane lodges are more popular for larger conferences.
There is a private wildlife concession within the Park. This is the Black Rhino Game Reserve. The reserve lies in the north western corner of the park.
