Black Rhino Lodge safari is currently the best value-for-money deal in Pilanesberg National Park. Black Rhino Lodge is a cosy 4-star lodge situated in a Tamboti forest. The lodge offers exclusive game viewing in a private section of the Pilanesberg. The private reserve is called the Black Rhino Reserve. It is malaria free.

Day 1

JHB – Pilanesberg – Black Rhino Game Lodge

We depart Johannesburg around 09h00 to allow us to reach Black Rhino Game Lodge around mid-day.
We arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you can settle in and relax before enjoying the afternoon game drive. The game drives start in the exclusive Black Rhino Reserve before heading into the rest of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The skilled safari guides explain the secrets of this unique habitat and track down predators like leopard, cheetah, and the elusive leopard.
Upon arrival, back at the lodge, you can freshen up before enjoying a scrumptious dinner.

Day 2

Black Rhino Game Lodge – Pilanesberg

An early wake-up call and then we head off into the bush for more Big 5 game viewing. Wild Dogs frequent one of their dens in the area regularly too. Breakfast and lunch are included after which you can relax in your suite, or lounge around the pool before the afternoon game drive and dinner.
Each comfortable air-conditioned suite offers a television, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar and private patio that opens out into the bush. Each suite has an open plan bathroom with a closed toilet. There are a separate bath and shower – most rooms have an outdoor shower.

Black Rhino Game Lodge – Pilanesberg

Depending on what time you need to be back in Johannesburg, you can enjoy another early morning game drive and breakfast. Pick-up will be around 10h00 when you will be transferred back to Johannesburg.
