Ivory Tree Game Lodge lies in a natural amphitheatre surrounded by mountains. This lodge offers a true bush lodge experience. Activities

Ivory Tree Game Lodge offers a variety of activities. These include African dancing, interactive drumming, a marimba band and a percussion show. You can take part in wildlife research and protection on a conservation safari. Kids enjoy the family safaris with lots of fun activities for children. You can even rejuvenate your body and soul at the Amani African Spa. The Ivory Tree lodge also has a fully equipped conference centre to host up to 120 delegates.

Ivory Tree Lodge is Wheelchair Friendly Both the accommodation and game drives are accessible for those using wheelchairs.

Directions

• Once on the N4 toll road, take the 1^st off-ramp for Pilanesberg or Sun City.
• Turn right over the Highway, continuing as though travelling to Sun City (about 80 km), going through at least four 4-way stops.
• At a 4-way stop with a Golden Era-sign off to the right, turn right to Northam on the R510.
• Continue along until you pass an industrial area on your left. Soon after, turn left to Mogwase and the Pilanesberg.
• At the second stop street with a Caltex garage on the corner, turn right to Pilanesberg, Manyane and Bakgatla gates.
• Continue until you get to a T-junction. Turn left to the Bakgatla gate and George Stegman Hospital.
• Continue on this road which will take you to Ivory Tree’s driveway and monumental thatched yellow entrance (right next to the Bakgatla entrance gate to the Pilanesberg National Park).

Child Policy

• The child policy at Ivory Tree Game Lodge aims to act in our guests’ best interest and safety. We are located within a national park and game reserve where animals roam freely. Animals are wild and will always react according to their instincts.
• Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide
• Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on game drives
• Baby-sitting facilities available at R300 per hour (maximum 2 children)
• Sole use vehicle is available to facilitate families at an additional cost of R5820 per vehicle per game drive
