Hot Air Balloon Rides

Pilanesberg Hot Air Balloon Rides offer a lifetime adventure in the air. Imagine experiencing the sunrise over the Pilanesberg National Park while floating silently above the ground in a basket suspended from a hot air balloon. The view is unsurpassed, the experience bar none.

The only noise you will hear is the gas burner firing on occasion. There is no turbulence on a hot air balloon flight as the balloon drifts with the breeze. From your vantage point in the basket, you will be able to see the extent of the volcanic crater in the Pilanesberg National Park.

The Pilanesberg Hot Air Balloon Rides depart daily, dependent on the weather and a minimum number of guests. The flight is about an hour long. The total time require for this experience is 4-5 hours. We will collect guests from their lodges or hotels in the early hours of the morning and take them to the launch site.

The flight is then an hour long after which the balloon will land in the park. Sparkling wine is part of our celebration and tradition when landing our balloons. After the magnificent experience, we head to a venue nearby for breakfast. After breakfast, we transfer our guests back to their hotels or accommodations. These transfers are included in our rates.
