Pilanesberg Outdoor Adventures

All these Pilanesberg outdoor adventures take place in the Letsatsing Game Reserve: quad biking, archery and mountain biking. We also have a Pilanesberg cultural village visit and some team building fun. Guests are collected from Sun City’s Welcome Centre and taken to Letsatsing Game Reserve 10 minutes away. After the activities they are taken back to Sun City and these transfers are included in the prices. There are no weather restrictions to the activities. We will arrange departure times as part of securing your booking.

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothing, closed shoes and sunscreen. You can bring your rands to buy some refreshments. The kiosk does not accept cards.

Child Policy

Unaccompanied persons under 18 need a parent or legal guardian to sign the indemnity form before departure. The activities have individual age restrictions, mentioned below.

Mountain Biking

Get your heart racing on our mountain bike route that covers bumpy roads, rivulets and mountain terrain. You can cycle 9,7 km through the game park and see plenty of wildlife, such as impala, giraffe, zebra, sable, wildebeest, warthogs, kudu, nyala and many more smaller animals and birds.

The route is not too steep.However, you have to be fit enough to finish a 9,7 km ride. Our experienced guide will accompany you. No lead or rider are allowed on the route without guidance.

Price excludes day visitor fees for the Sun City Valley of Waves.

Quad biking

Experience the African bush on a quad bike. Your guide will explain the safe way to quad and after that you can do a 5 minute practice course. Thereafter, you can go and find the wildlife on your four-wheeler!

You don’t need to be fit or experienced in riding a quad. The activity includes your protective gear for your head and eyes, the quad bike’s usage and guide.

Children

The minimum age requirement is 5 years. Children 5 – 7 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

1 Hour Trail: R 730 per adult and R 550 for children under 16

1/2 Hour Trail: R 520 per adult and R 390 for children under 16

Archery

Archery is an ancient art and with today’s equipment it’s a fun activity for everyone! You don’t need any prior experience. Your guide will explain the safety procedures and technique.

Children

Adventurers have to be at least 8 years old.
